We keep our own tracking minimal. This page explains what data is processed when you visit, and what happens when you click ads or affiliate links.

What we collect (and what we don’t)

We do not offer accounts, comments, or a newsletter, so we don’t collect names, passwords, or email addresses through the site.

• No user profile data: we don’t know who you are.
• No form submissions: the site is designed to work without collecting personal messages.
• Local-only settings: the Stack Builder stores your choices in your browser (local storage) so the page remembers them.

Hosting, logs, and security

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most sites, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps) to deliver pages, protect against abuse, and keep the site reliable.

Ads and cookies

We display ads via Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, including interest-based ads depending on your region and settings.

On first visit, we show a consent banner. If you accept marketing cookies, we load the AdSense script; if you reject, ads may be limited or not shown.

You can control ad personalization in your Google Ads settings, and you can also block cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may reduce ad relevance but should not break site content.

Affiliate links and outbound sites

Some links are affiliate links. When you click them, you leave this site and the vendor site may set its own cookies or tracking for attribution. We don’t receive your personal details—only aggregated conversion reporting from affiliate programs.

Data retention

We do not store personal identifiers in a site database. Technical logs and ad/affiliate reporting are handled by the providers above and retained according to their policies.

Your choices

You can reopen the consent banner via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or reset your choice by clearing this site’s local storage in your browser.

• Use your browser controls to block or clear cookies and local storage.
• Use an ad blocker if you prefer not to load third‑party ad scripts.
• If you want to avoid affiliate attribution entirely, you can visit vendor sites directly instead of using our /go/ links.

Updates

We may update this page if we add, remove, or change third‑party services (ads, analytics, affiliate tracking).
